Key Activities / Tasks

Lead and manage the Quality Assurance team to ensure efficient and effective quality control processes within the workshop.

Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures to meet regulatory and industry standards.

Conduct regular inspections and audits of workshop processes, materials, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for improvement.

Collaborate with other departments, including production and engineering, to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Train and mentor team members on quality assurance best practices and procedures.
-
Prepare and present quality reports to management, highlighting key findings and recommendations for improvement.
-
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technologies related to quality assurance.
-
Foster a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement within the workshop team.

Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. (Master’s degree preferred)
Relevant certifications in quality management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Manager, Six Sigma Black Belt) are a plus.
- Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in a workshop or manufacturing environment.
Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems, methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO standards), and tools.
Experience in conducting audits, inspections, and root cause analysis.
Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards relevant to the workshop environment.
