  • During your internship, you will actively support the planning and execution of exciting research projects in the field of additive manufacturing (L-PBF).

  • A key focus will be on the system integration of an automated data workflow (Monitoring System).

  • You will also work on the development and optimization of relevant materials to improve their properties.

  • Furthermore, you will independently plan and conduct experiments, analyzing and measuring the products in terms of microstructure, density, and topography.

  • Finally, you will provide valuable support in beam diagnostics (caustics).

  • Education: advanced studies in the field of Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or comparable

  • Experience and Knowledge: strong Python skills (including database systems, data workflows and data analysis libraries); system administration experience (Shell); proficiency in software testing (Pytest) and version control (Git); knowledge of Linux and Microsoft systems; practical knowledge of additive manufacturing

  • Personality and Working Practice: you excel at communicating effectively as a team-oriented player while maintaining a structured and independent work style

  • Work Routine: your on-site presence is required

  • Languages: fluent in German and English

Start: according to prior agreement

Duration: 6 months (confirmation of mandatory internship required)
