Robert Bosch LLC seeks Sr.

Software Engineer (Multiple Positions) at its facility located at 38000 Hills Tech Drive, Farmington Hills, MI 48331.

Embedded software development of electronic stability control and electromechanical brake system for OEM's.

Develop and configure software components and maintain existing software in accordance with defined ASPICE compliant software development processes including requirements engineering, concept, design, review, implementation, integration, component and system test.

Release and delivery of complete software for prototype baseline, sample, or series to plant or Customer.

Responsible for project-specific base/infrastructural software component development and/or complete software integration, testing and release.

Work on functional and software requirements engineering including elicitation, evaluation, definition, and allocation.

Evaluate performance of unit, component, integration, and release testing.

Ensure setup and maintenance of HIL/SIL test environments.

Responsible for SW release to customer and plant.

Support team members in lab and/or vehicle, trouble-shooting and problem-solving.

Lead or participate in quality initiatives such as defect management, quality gates and risk assessments.

Participate in continuous improvement and competence management activities.

Train and mentor less experienced software and test engineers.

Document work results and report/feedback to line management. REQS: This position requires a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or a related field. 5 years of experience as a Software Developer, Software Integrator, or occupation involving embedded software development in the automotive industry.

Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) CIC++ programming; (2) CAN, CAN-FD, UDS, J1939 or other automotive communication protocols - including software implementation; (3) Automotive software development processes (Automotive SPICE®); (4) Embedded base SW development for brake control systems and brake system hardware components; (5) HIL (Hardware-In- Loop) testing setup and execution; (6) Application lifecycle management tools (IBM Rational®, ALM, DOORS, JIRA, or Enterprise Architect); and (7) Software project management and agile methods (Scrum).

Telecommuting: Hybrid; WFH permitted up to 3 days per week.

Travel Requirements: 10% or less international or domestic travel.
