- During your internship you will simulate various charging scenarios, including vehicle-to-home (V2H), vehicle-to-grid (V2G), uncontrolled charging, and fast charging. - Furthermore you will optimize charging strategies, taking current market and climate conditions into account. - You will analyze battery aging processes to improve battery lifespan and efficiency. - Conducting comprehensive data analyses and evaluations to gain sound insights belongs to your area of ​​responsibility. - Gain experience in the area of actively participating in the design of new features and contribute your ideas. - Lastly you will program new features using Python, implement them in our systems and conduct software tests as well as meticulously document the results. ## Qualifications - Education: studies in the field of electrical engineering, energy engineering, cybernetics, computer science or comparable - Experience and Knowledge: very good knowledge of Python, including extensive experience with scientific computing libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, and scikit-learn; proficiency in using MATLAB for modeling and simulation; ideally, you have initial experience in battery modeling and a foundational understanding of the aging processes in lithium-ion batteries; a solid understanding of the principles behind the optimization and simulation of energy systems; experience with version control systems, such as Git is required - Personality and Working Practice: you are highly motivated and work independently on your tasks; you consistently demonstrate initiative to drive project success; you are able to collaborate effectively both independently and as part of a team - Work Routine: office attendance required - Languages: business fluent in German and very good in English ## Additional Information Start: according to prior agreement Duration: 6 months Requirement for this internship is the enrollment at university.
