Design technical concepts and products for meeting required functionality, features and reliability of the products

Setup and maintain BOM, create 2D/3D drawings for Motor and parts

Provide technical support for other internal functions, such as cost reduction, quality improvement

Conduct failure analysis and problem solving for products in development and series production

Collaborate effectively with regional & global teams to ensure seamless project initiation and execution, aligning with organizational objectives.

Lead design optimization efforts for series products and components, driving continuous improvement and innovation in product performance.

Conduct regular performance and cost benchmarking of power tools to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary upgrades.

Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of technical solutions within targetted quality, cost & time.

• Bachelor or master’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.

• 5+ years of professional experience, of which at least 3 years’ experience in engineering related department.

• Preferably working as team leader or project lead in earlier roles

• Familiar with Pro/E etc. design tool to create 2D/3D drawings and FMEA etc. knowledge.

• Good knowledge in material and process, strength calculation & verification, failure analysis and problem solving.

• Have motor design and simulation capability, familiar with related motor design software.

• Having power tool or related industries experience is preferred.

• Self-motivated, strong ownership, open mind, fast learning and team player.

• Good communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking).
