Purpose of this position : Mechanical Area of the Plant

BE/Diploma in Mechanical

Minimum 6Years with BE and to Minimum 8 Years with Diploma

'- Operation & maintenance of utility systems like Compressed Air, DI Water plant, Ventilation systems, Exhaust system, Chillers, PHE, A/C, Pumps, etc.,

• Order and maintain critical spares and consumables related to mechanical functions

• AMC schedule and 52 week calander for all equipment PM activities

• Maintain all PM related & breakdown reports up to date

• BMS system operations and maintenance

• Cylinder ordering, handling and storing in a safe manner & create gate pass for cylinders

• Operation and maintenance of critical server room A/c systems PAC's

• Initiate all mechanical related activities by analyzing the site and raising / closing the work permits

• Train the contract workers as per site requirement and fulfilling their gate admittance formalities.

• Maintain 5s in and around utility functional areas including Industrial Safety Systems

• Complete competent person certification for all pressure vessels, lifting tools & tackles on half yearly basis and HPT on 5yrs once (Form-07, 31 & 32)

• Reduce media related downtime and attending production meeting with suitable action plan

• Educate and training the service provider team for all utility related functions

• Create and release work instruction / SOP, checklist related to maintenance functions and review the same 3yrs once

• Keeping all audit related documents are handy and clearing auditors queries

• Drive new energy efficient projects or modification / expansion projects related to mechanical / HVAC stream

• All mechanical / HVAC equipment safety release

• Order creation, follow-up with vendor for on time material delivery and work execution

• Monitor daily utility consumption and ensure all consumption within targeted value

-Compressed air quality test on quarterly basis

• Guiding and training on technical aspect and close loop of all assigned work with IFMS team

• Performance evaluation of all the utility systems and if any deviation, corrective action from IFMS team

• Should be capable of handling the IFMS team of technician & supervisors along with facility manager

• Prepare safety related documents like HIRA, near miss incident, JSA, chemical assessment, as per Bosch standards

Industrial Safety Systems:

• Shall Prepare BOQ, Validate, propose alternative cost effective solution's to manage project financials, cash flow and payments. Able to prepare project charter and manage complete project cycle. Should be well with change management and control.
