Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP Basis Administration Consultant with 4 - 6 years of SAP technical administration experience, including hands-on exposure to SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The candidate will be responsible for administration, configuration, monitoring, security, and integration management across SAP BTP landscapes, ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

SAP BTP Administration

• Administer SAP BTP Global Accounts, Subaccounts, and Directories.

• Manage entitlements, quotas, and service plans.

• Configure Cloud Foundry and Kyma environments.

• Provision and manage BTP services (e.g., HANA Cloud, Integration Suite, IAS/IPS).

• Monitor service consumption and optimize resource utilization.

• Perform tenant lifecycle management (creation, deletion, configuration).

• Configure and manage SAP Cloud Identity Services:

• SAP Cloud Identity Authentication Service

• SAP Cloud Identity Provisioning Service

• Configure SSO using SAML 2.0 / OAuth 2.0.

• Role collection design and authorization management.

• Integrate with corporate Identity Providers (Azure AD / ADFS).

• Implement principal propagation and secure connectivity.

• Configure and manage SAP Cloud Connector for on-premises integration.

• Establish secure RFC/HTTP connectivity between on-premises SAP systems and BTP.

• Support SAP Integration Suite connectivity and certificate management.

• Manage destination configurations and connectivity troubleshooting.

• Provision and administer SAP HANA Cloud instances.

• Monitor database performance and storage utilization.

• Perform backup configuration and lifecycle management.

• Support schema management and HDI container administration.

• Monitor BTP services using SAP BTP cockpit and logs.

• Configure alerts and health checks.

• Perform root cause analysis for service failures.

• Coordinate incident management with SAP support (OSS messages).

• Maintain operational documentation and runbooks.

• Manage transport routes across subaccounts (Dev ? QA ? Prod).

• Support CI/CD integration (Git-based repositories).

• Assist development teams with deployment troubleshooting.

• Manage MTA deployments and environment configurations.

• Implement naming standards and subaccount structure.

• Ensure compliance with security policies and audit requirements.

• License and consumption monitoring.

• Support cloud cost optimization initiatives.

• Willingness to work in shifts or most likely in On Call Duty

Required Technical Skills :

• 5+ years of SAP Basis / Technical administration experience.

• Hands-on experience with SAP BTP administration.

• Strong knowledge of:

• Cloud Foundry environment

• SAP Cloud Connector

• SAP HANA Cloud

-IAS/IPS configuration

• Good understanding of:

• SAML / OAuth

• Certificates & TLS

• Role collections and authorization concepts

• Basic networking knowledge (DNS, firewall, proxy concepts).

Educational qualification:

• BE, BTech, BCA, BSc (IT) MCA, MBA (IT) and MSc(IT)

Experience :

• 4 - 6 years of experiance
