Our Mission

Our CoE's mission is to enable the efficient operation of scalable cloud environments by providing trusted design leadership, clear standards, and reusable assets. We support complex customer needs, empower teams through effective handover, and drive continuous improvement, operational excellence, and innovation.

Roles & Responsibilities

Platform Architecture & Standardization:

  • Design and architect resilient, highly available, and secure cloud platform solutions that serve as the foundation for multiple project teams.

  • Lead the architectural design of platform patterns (e.g., a hub-cluster model) to centralize shared Kubernetes services, improving efficiency and manageability.

  • Develop and evangelize reusable reference architectures and standardized patterns for operating runtime components and infrastructure services.

  • Provide expert consulting to internal teams, guiding them in the adoption of our standardized platforms and best practices to accelerate their projects.

Infrastructure & Plattform Engineering:

  • Implement and manage the Kubernetes platforms (AKS, EKS, OCP) that host containerized workloads, championing tools like ArgoCD, Grafana, service mesh for secure and observable communication.

  • Build and operate the CI/CD and release management pipelines, enforcing advanced Git Ops practices as the standard for automated and auditable operations.

  • Implement and maintain the network and security controls for our multi-cloud and hybrid environments.

Technical Leadership & Innovation:

  • Empower internal cloud delivery and operations teams by leading the development of centralized tools and automation that increases their velocity and reduces operational friction.

  • Serve as a hands-on technical leader, providing coding and troubleshooting expertise in Terraform, Helm, and Python to create reusable modules and automation scripts.

  • Actively drive the evaluation and adoption of open-source tools to enhance our service and platform capabilities, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.

  • Drive the innovation of our observability stack by integrating AI capabilities to intelligently reduce alert noise, shorten diagnostic times and accelerate incident resolution for operations teams.

  • Mentor and guide engineering teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, inner-sourcing, and continuous improvement.

Educational Qualification:

  • B.E/ B. Tech / MCA / MSc / M.E

Experience:

  • 8-12 years in infrastructure, cloud, or software engineering roles, with a demonstrable progression towards architecture or platform engineering.

Required Skills & Expertise:

  • Cloud Platform Architecture: Deep expertise in designing and building scalable and secure solutions on at least one major public cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP).

  • Kubernetes Mastery: Advanced, hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, and container orchestration. Specific experience with multi-cluster management (hub-spoke, etc.) is highly desirable.

  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Advanced coding skills in Terraform and Helm. Proficiency in a scripting language like Python or Go for automation is essential.

  • Git Ops & CI/CD: A strong command of Git Ops principles and hands-on experience building and running CI/CD pipelines (ArgoCD, flux).

  • Observability: Proven experience in designing and implementing observability solutions. Practical knowledge of the Grafana stack (Prometheus, Loki, Tempo) is a significant advantage.

  • Networking & Security: Strong knowledge of cloud networking concepts and security best practices for building shared infrastructure.

  • Leadership & Communication: Excellent consulting, communication, and stakeholder management skills with a passion for mentoring and evangelizing technical standards.

  • (Desirable) Domain Expertise: Knowledge of automotive and manufacturing processes is a plus.
