Job Summary

• Overall responsibility for technical topics in the product and/or platform development project covering the whole system (incl. align with upper system, e.g. IoT).
• Create and evalu.ate design alternatives with domain experts, align decision decisions with stakeholders.
• Responsible for BES-PE in the project.

Job Scope

1. Align CRS/SRS with stakeholders, consolidate cross-domain SoA technology to holistically conclude and propose on technical feasibility and the FAM.

2. Create engineering concept and its system architect. Deploy the system requirements into subsystems via a living alignment with domain engineers.

• Ensure intellectual property protection of responsible product.
• Expand & maintain system design technical solutions and platform development, e.g. Gearbox, Motor and ELO, Chuck, HMI etc.
• Responsible for the fitting of all components into the industrial design, e.g. Gearbox, Motor, ELO, Chuck, HMI and etc.

1. Develop for technical solution and verification plan together with other domain engineers according to customer requirements & system requirements.

2. Finalize design with comply to Bosch internal Requirements & Industries Standard with consolidated technical files and related project documentation, e.g. drawings with CAD system, part lists (BOM), FMEA, risk assessment, etc.

3. Support line and warranty teams for technical related quality problem solving when needed.

4. Other tasks assigned by the superior as and when necessary.

• Applicants must be Malaysian citizens.
• Bachelor or above in Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in new product development process and the tools/processes used.
• Design for consumer goods or household appliances. Related areas are automotive and industrial applications.
• System engineering experience, at least one project had high level system complexity with smart electronics control features and/or system deployment across domains (mechanical, electronics hardware, software).
• Exposure to the manufacturing process of various components, especially for plastic and metal parts. Basic understanding on PCBA and motor manufacturing process would be a plus.
• Experience in patent searching and filing.
• Transfer of technical requirements into a design solution by applying a systematic approach.
• Understanding cause-effect relationships of technical details.
• Outstanding skills and abilities in field of competence.
• Simplification in technical topic to bridge the cross-domain experts.
• Successful participation in BES-PE training.
• Creo CAD system, GIS, ANDI system experience.
• Advanced user of relevant software tools, e.g. Code Beamer.
• SAP basic user
