Roles & Responsibilities :

We are seeking talented and motivated individual for a position of Android AAOS Developer.

We are looking for an experienced Android Developer with a strong background in AAOS, System UI, and framework-based development to contribute to our cutting-edge automotive projects

Responsibilities

• Create and enhance the System UI for Android-based automotive platforms.

• Implement custom UI components and themes tailored for in-vehicle displays.

• Ensure UI consistency, accessibility, and adherence to design guidelines.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AAOS applications with vehicle systems and services.

• Optimize framework-based code for performance and memory efficiency.

Collaboration & Innovation:

• Work closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Contribute to the architecture and design discussions, providing insights and recommendations for improving system performance and user experience.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Android development and automotive software.

Testing & Maintenance:

• Perform thorough testing and debugging of applications and UI components to ensure reliability and stability.

• Maintain and update existing codebases, addressing bugs and implementing new features as required

Note: Candidate to work from customer location in Bengaluru Whitefield

Educational qualification:

B.E / B.Tech

Experience :

3-6 Years

Mandatory/requires Skills :

• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin.

• Experience with Android Framework APIs as well as the low-level Android services and inter-process communication (IPC), such as:

• Launcher Apps • Package Manager • Activity Manager • Window Manager

• Experience with Android Framework APIs and system-level IPC mechanisms

• Hands on experience in Jetpack compose

• Strong understanding of Android architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture).

• Experience with Android Studio and version control systems (Git).

• Hands-on experience with Android AOSP development, including custom ROMs or deep platform changes

Familiarity with System UI development:

• Launcher • Widgets • Shortcuts • Recents • Notifications

• Experience with Car Service System UI Development
