You will gain firsthand experience in everything from monthly reporting, project controlling as well as strategic planning to data analysis and process improvement.
What will you be doing?
- Acquire an in-depth insight and understanding of the Financial Controlling function within Bosch Rexroth with the possibility of being placed in various areas of finance and controlling.
- Undertaking technical and project tasks along with operational and strategic responsibilities.
- Together with us, you will gain experience of our diverse product and service portfolio and get to know the financial side of our business as well as our internal processes.
- Provide key support to audits (internal and external, account reconciliation and analytics.
- Consolidating financial data (for example budgets, income statement forecasts etc) and analysing against Bosch goals to identify pain points and opportunities.
- Developing financial models and conduct benchmarking.
- Become involved in financial strategy, planning, and analysis.
- Data Analysis & Process Improvement Learn to champion the effective use of SAP and our data analysis system, understanding the importance of data integrity.
- Participate in projects to review and enhance processes, boosting efficiency, service, and reporting levels.
In the Graduate Specialist Programme (GSP), you are in good hands as a technical ace with a good feel for current market developments. You can combine your passion for industrial technology and your understanding of market economics.
- Education: Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or other relevant degree
- A rising star looking for a fulfilling career within financial controlling in industry.
- Analytical Mindset: You are a natural problem-solver who is comfortable with data and enjoys using it to draw insights and drive decisions.
- Software and IT knowledge: Preferably experience or knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system, Conversant in Microsoft office products (especially Excel) and a strong aptitude for learning new software is essential.
- Proactive & Eager to Learn: You are a self-starter with a goal and result orientated attitude, always looking for opportunities to learn and improve.
- Experience and know-how: Challenging industrial internships or initial work experience in a technical environment.
- Excellent communicator, high level of self-motivation and commitment, you can build relationships and communicate clearly and professionally with customers, suppliers, and internal colleagues.
- Team Player: You thrive in a collaborative environment and are dedicated to achieving shared objectives.

Our trainee programme as a "Controlling Graduate" is your career start in an internationally successful company. In 18-24 months, you will pass through all aspects of the finance and accounting area in the Sales Unit in St Neots with time allocated abroad that is individually tailored to give you the best experience and knowledge.
You will be required to evidence your right to work in the UK, as we are unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. International applicants would not be provided with a Skilled Worker visa for this role and will only be able to take up this role if they can demonstrate an alternative right to work in the UK.
