Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP BASIS Consultant with 4 - 6+ years of hands-on expertise in SAP upgrades, database migrations, data center transitions, downtime optimization, and RISE with SAP transformations. The candidate will play a critical role in executing ECC Conversions, S/4 HANA Upgrades, Datacenter relocation, and cloud migration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform SAP ECC EHP upgrades and S/4 HANA Conversion.

  • Execute system conversion projects to S/4HANA (Brownfield).

  • Perform SAP System conversion and migration to target datacenter.

  • Perform Unicode conversions (if applicable).

  • Execute SAP system relocation across data centers (homogeneous/heterogeneous system copy).

  • Plan infrastructure readiness (network, firewall, storage, DNS)

  • Configure high availability and disaster recovery.

  • Conduct DR drills and failover testing.

  • Coordinate with infrastructure, network, and security teams.

  • Support technical activities for RISE with SAP transformation.

  • Prepare systems for hyper scalar migration (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP under RISE).

  • Perform system provisioning in SAP-managed cloud landscapes.

  • Coordinate with SAP Cloud ALM / SAP Solution Manager for monitoring.

  • Execute technical onboarding to RISE landscapes.

  • Validate connectivity (Cloud Connector, RFCs, CPI integrations).

  • Support Private Cloud Edition (PCE) migration activities.

  • Ensure compliance with SAP standard operations model in RISE environments

Required Technical Skills

  • Strong SAP BASIS administration (6+ years).

  • Hands-on experience with:

SUM & DMO:

  • DMOVE2S4

  • Downtime Optimized Upgrade and Conversion

  • SWPM

  • SAP HANA administration

Experience in:

ECC to S/4HANA conversion

  • Downtime optimized migrations

  • Data center relocation

  • RISE with SAP projects

  • Knowledge of:

High availability & disaster recovery

  • Linux and Windows environments

  • Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP)

Educational qualification:

  • BE, BTech, BCA, BSc (IT) MCA, MBA (IT) and MSc(IT)

Experience :

  • 4 - 6+ Years of experience
