At Bosch Power Tools, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager (KAM) capable of managing and developing our most important strategic accounts. We are seeking a visionary, proactive sales leader with a strong results-oriented mindset, able to identify growth opportunities and maximize profitability within our customer portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
As our Key Account Manager, you will be the main point of contact for our most valuable clients and will be responsible for:
- Strategic Account Management: Developing and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with an assigned portfolio of key clients, acting as their trusted advisor.
- Business Development: Proactively identifying new business, expansion, and growth opportunities within existing accounts.
- Strategy Development & Execution: Designing and implementing detailed annual account plans aligned with company growth objectives and customer needs.
- Negotiation & Closing: Leading negotiation processes, preparing commercial proposals, presenting solutions, and closing agreements that maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Internal Coordination: Collaborating closely with internal teams (Marketing, Product, Technical Support, Finance, etc.) to ensure exceptional service delivery and tailor-made solutions for each customer.
- Direct leadership of the sales agents team: ownership of the commercial strategy, and responsibility for meeting all performance targets**.**
- Analysis & Reporting: Monitoring account performance, analyzing key metrics, and preparing regular reports on relationship status and progress toward objectives.
- Needs Anticipation: Gaining a deep understanding of customers’ businesses, challenges, and goals to anticipate their needs and provide proactive solutions.
- Training & Advisory: Advising clients on best practices and new features or products that can generate added value.
- Problem Resolution: Managing and resolving any issues or challenges that arise with clients efficiently and professionally.
- Brand Representation: Acting as a brand ambassador, consistently demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and commitment.
Education
- University degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Marketing, Commercial Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Postgraduate studies are considered a plus.
Professional Experience
- Minimum of 4–5 years of proven experience in Key Account Management within large retail chains.
- Experience in the construction or DIY sector is highly valued.

- Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and sales-closing skills.
- Strong customer orientation, with a focus on long-term relationship building and customer satisfaction.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and implement account strategies, including cross-selling and up-selling initiatives.
- Strong leadership capabilities, with experience managing and motivating sales teams.
- High level of autonomy and proactivity, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex solutions in a clear and concise manner.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Languages
- Advanced level of Portuguese and English is mandatory.
- Knowledge of Spanish is an advantage.
Availability
- Willingness to travel as required.
