Inspects and evaluates components to determine if they are compliant to all Hydra Force specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Inspect components to determine if they are compliant to specifications

· Document inspection results as required

· Submit Non-Conformance reports for goods failing inspection

· Notify supervisors and other personnel of production problems and assist in identifying these problems

· Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products

· Record inspection data using established programs and software

· Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures

· Comply with all safety and sanitation regulations

· Complete any other tasks as assigned by supervisor

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:

· Ability to walk/stand for long periods of time

· Lift and move a minimum of 20 pounds

· Working with small parts

· Repetitive hand/arm use

Work Environment

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

· Some of the work time is spent in a warehouse environment where temperatures are often warm or cool, depending upon the season, and noise level can be moderate to high

Knowledge/ Experience:

· A high school graduate or GED

· 1 to 3 years’ experience in mechanical inspection and manufacturing environment

· Ability to follow inspection processes and plans

· Previous experience with quality control equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges preferred

· Proficient with MS Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook

· Some experience with technical specifications and blueprints

· The ability to see details at close range

· Work independently with little supervision

· Exhibit ethical independence and judgment of the parts and process

· Clear communication

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00 per hour, based on experience.
