Job Description

As a Data Analyst Intern within our APAC logistics service hub team, you will bridge the gap between raw data and strategic decision-making. You will work alongside supply chain experts and IT developers to collect, process, and interpret data related to inventory management, transport logistics, forecasting, and procurement. This internship provides hands-on experience in transforming complex supply chain data into actionable insights and visualized dashboards.

Main responsibilities include:

• Collect, clean, and validate data from various supply chain systems/data pipelines to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Design and maintain interactive dashboards and reports.
• Analyze datasets to identify trends, root causes of operational inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Document data definitions, metrics, and reporting logic for future reference.
• Learn about the supply chain domain and how data-driven decisions optimize logistics operations.

Mandatory:

• 3rd-4th year university student majoring in Information Systems/IT Development/Data Analytics.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Power Query).
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented mindset.
• Fluent in English.

Nice-to-haves:

• Proficiency in programming languages for data analysis and UI development (e.g., Python**,**Javascript, HTML, CSS).
• Experience with Figma (for designing dashboard layouts and UI mockups).
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, Oracle).
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP).
• Basic understanding of statistics and probability, and machine learning.
• Basic understanding of supply chain concepts (Inbound/Outbound, Inventory turnover, etc.).
