• Manufacturing process planning: Responsible for process planning of wheel Speed Sensor body lines & sensor unit lines includes assembly, welding, camera inspection, label printing, weighing etc. processes. Set-up/ develop/ tune of process parameters for these processes. Co-ordinate with quality team for process validation & support production/maintenance team to troubleshoot & maintain the process smoothly to achieve customer delivery targets.
• Manufacturing IT (ITM): Responsible for planning & maintaining the manufacturing IT systems/ infrastructure. Coordinate with OT technicians, local IT, facility & maintenance team to maintain uptime of IT system. Manage servers, VLANs, databases & applications with respective support teams/suppliers. Implement essential security measures in ITM. Monitor & reduce IT cost.,
• MES key user & digitalization: Manage the MES application for value stream. Regular troubleshooting, new lines commissioning, user management, servers’ management, ensure connectivity, users/ data/ security management of application. New modules rollout. Planning budget & coordinate implementation of new projects of MES. Digitalization technology & tools like PowerBI etc.
• Special processes: Handle resistance welding – production setup, quality issues, process improvement, troubleshooting & system calibration. CQI-15 assessment.
• Production Documentation: Prepare & release production documents such as WI, Control Plan, PFC, PFMEA, Measurement & test plans, PDS.
• IPN collaboration: Collaborate with IPN (International Production Network) for process improvements, quality issues, complaints, standardization. Represent Chakan plant within IPN & execute standardizations/improvements.
• Machine installation & commissioning: Co-ordinate for installation and commissioning of new or relocated machines/stations/units with facility or third parties. Plan for tryouts, validations and release of new machines for production (RfP). Order necessary material & services.
• KAIZEN: Kaizen ideation to implementation for shopfloor/ process/ production improvements like CT reduction, quality improvements etc.
• New product development: Understand technical requirements from Sales team and coordinate with IPN & CFT to collect information related product design to establish robust manufacturing processes. Support from sample generation to SOP for new product/ variants.
• CI Projects: Participate in value stream KPI improvement projects (System CIP) e.g. IDC reduction, OEE/productivity/safety improvement, mfg. cost reduction, localization, consumable reduction, source change etc.
• CAPEX planning & procurements: Identify capital investments and plan budgets for procurement of machines/material/components/services. Coordination with suppliers for technical quotations to meet time bound procurements via ERP/shopping portals. Follow up for timely delivery, release of MAE for series production, handover to production, monitor and boost ramp ups.
• Planning and Procurement of tools/ jigs/ fixtures: Coordinate with shopfloor for planning & procurement of necessary tooling/ jigs/ fixtures.
• OPL Closure: Timely closure of responsible open topics within value stream, IPN, workgroups and central team.

Audits: Responsible for compliance to customer audits, external & internal audits, process & system audits, CAU / AUD audits, TS, Quality & HSE audits or assessments, maintaining relevant documentation for audit, OPL closure
