• Creates and compares alternative development concepts using clear evaluation criteria

• Performs iterations and capability tests to improve technical results and meet internal standards

• Uses and guides others in applying established engineering calculation tools

• Identifies technical problems and risks during testing, and consults experts when needed

• Applies relevant design guidelines, norms, and internal directives effectively

• Acts as a test owner: performs key tests, defines best practices, updates templates, and improves test infrastructure

• Investigates technical issues through collaboration and peer input to understand cause-effect relationships

• Updates test plans with additional “lessons learned” content and supplementary tests

• Prepares test plans in line with internal procedures, ensuring timely and collaborative delivery

• Brings focus points into risk management discussions and aligns them with risk tools like FMEA or DRBFM

• Ensures all planned tests are executed or documents justified deviations and related action plans

• Follows Engineering Change Management processes throughout the development cycle

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Energy Systems Engineering (MSc/PhD preferred)

• Deep knowledge of combustion, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics

• Hands-on experience with combustion test setups

• Strong problem-solving mindset, adaptable in agile environments

• Fluent in English, confident in cross-functional international teams

• Clear communicator with a proactive and collaborative spirit
