The Opportunity

As an expert in defense missions, your unique background inspires you to think bigger, push further, and ask questions others don't. We need your extensive industry knowledge and advisory skills to solve some of our clients' most complex problems and find solutions that keep our nation safe. As an Exercise Plans Analyst, you will be at the forefront of designing health services support for complex, high-impact operations, directly contributing to mission success. You will collaborate with mission partners to develop medical plans that support theater campaign plans, operational objectives, and multinational engagement strategies. In this role, you will apply your planning expertise to create readiness guides, training integration plans, and resource assessments that enhance prevention, protection, and treatment capabilities across the force. You will shape casualty evacuation concepts, optimize medical asset placement, and work alongside allied and civilian partners in demanding operational environments. Across every phase of the Joint Exercise Lifecycle, you will integrate health services planning by developing staff estimates, medical annexes, risk assessments, and after-action reports that translate directly into real-world readiness. This role offers a unique opportunity to identify opportunities, solve complex challenges, and influence operational outcomes through strategic medical planning. Your work will result in high-visibility deliverables, including decision briefs, whitepapers, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and presentations delivered to senior leaders and mission partners. You Have

  • 10+ years of experience in military planning at the Service or Joint Force HQ level
  • 8+ years of experience with Marine Corps planning tools, including the Marine Corps Planning Process and Joint Exercise Planners Toolkit
  • Experience using Microsoft Power Systems and Office Suite, including Power BI, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook, to develop presentations and decision-informing products
  • Knowledge of Health Service Support and its role supporting military operations and exercises within the INDOPACOM Theater
  • Knowledge of military organization and culture of joint U.S. forces and partner allies in the region
  • Knowledge of the Military Health System (MHS), service medical operational capabilities, and doctrine and Department of War networks for information gathering, including NIPR, SIPR, and CENTRIX
  • Ability to produce professional written, verbal, and digital products
  • Ability to brief senior flag officers
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to support deployed exercises within the INDOPACOM AOR
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Graduate of an Expeditionary Warfare School, Command and Staff College, National Defense University Keystone, or service specific Senior Enlisted Academy

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
