DevOps Engineer, Senior

The Opportunity:

Everyone is trying to “harness the cloud,” but not everyone knows how. As a DevOps engineer, you’re eager to develop, manage, and secure a container platform that meets your client’s needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. We need you to develop container management software to solve some of our clients’ toughest challenges.

We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead CI/CD, container hardening, and operational reliability for a Digital Twin and Modeling & Simulation platform operating in regulated environments. You’ll ensure systems are built, deployed, and operated securely while meeting DoD and ATO expectations.

You’ll work closely with platform and application teams to automate delivery, improve observability, and maintain high availability across hybrid and constrained environments.

What You’ll Do

• Design and operate secure CI/CD pipelines
• Implement container hardening, image scanning, and secure build practices
• Support ATO evidence generation and compliance workflows
• Establish observability, monitoring, and incident response
• Ensure reliable releases across hybrid and disconnected environments

You Have:

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps or platform operations
• 5+ years of experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines
• 5+ years of experience with container security and image hardening
• Experience operating production systems under compliance constraints
• Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Argo CD
• Experience with container scanning tools such as Trivy, Anchore, or Twistlock
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Open Search
• Experience supporting Do

D ATO or RMF processes:

• Top Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
