Cloud Operations Engineer:

The Opportunity:

Manages, administers, supports and enhances cloud environments, ensuring continuous improvement and rapid problem resolution. Applies leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts, contributes to the development of new principles and concepts. Works on unusually complex problems and provides highly innovative solutions. Operates with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision, mentors or supervises employees in both company and technical competencies.

You Have:

• 8+ years of experience working within on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure

• Experience with Terraform is an infrastructure-as-code software tool

• Experience with Jenkins automation software

• Ability to apply patch updates to cloud infrastructure, automated solution via AWS Patch Manager

• Ability to automate and execute deployment solutions via Tenable

• Ability to support Nessus Agent deployment and configuration

• Ability to troubleshoot complex technology issues and challenges

• Top Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree

D IAT Level II Certification:

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with Arcturus deployment software

• Ability to evaluate infrastructure configuration to identify potential cost optimization

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
