The Opportunity

As a DevOps engineer, you know how to set up cloud environments and provision computer networking, storage, and virtual networks—ultimately, how to "harness the cloud." We're looking for an experienced DevOps infrastructure engineer like you to support our clients as they modernize their IT infrastructures and meet their most challenging missions. As a DevOps infrastructure engineer at Booz Allen, you'll work closely with cloud architects and engineers to manage server configuration for modern cloud solutions. You'll apply your skills within a DevOps framework to establish or provision virtual machines or networks and use cloud service providers to further your clients' meaningful missions. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working with Dev

Ops or System Administration teams:

  • 5+ years of experience with Linux and Windows Administration
  • 2+ years of experience as a team lead of cloud or on-prem infrastructure DevOps teams
  • 2+ years of experience with Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban
  • 2+ years of experience using task management software, such as Jira
  • 2+ years of experience with AWS Services, such as EC2, Lambda, SQS, or SNS
  • 2+ years of experience with capturing infrastructure and configuration as code, such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
  • 2+ years of experience with VMWare or Citrix
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of experience in DevOps in lieu of degree

Nice to Have

  • Experience performing security scanning tools and remediating vulnerabilities
  • Experience with Sponsor A&A process and systems
  • Experience with on-prem hardware management at the Sponsor
  • Experience with OCI and Azure
  • Experience with managing Oracle Database instances
  • Experience troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving issues related to CI/CD pipeline failures or slowness
  • Experience in the development of tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments
  • Experience writing scripts using tools such as Python, Bash, or Boto3
  • Experience creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks
  • AWS and OCI certifications a plus

Clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.

Work Model
