The Opportunity:

The Data Visualization Specialist is a creative and detail-oriented professional responsible for designing and developing a wide range of visual communication products. This mid-level role requires a strong foundation in graphic design principles and the ability to translate complex data into clear and compelling visuals. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and collaborative team player, capable of managing multiple projects and consistently delivering high-quality work that aligns with the agency's branding and strategic goals.

How You'll Contribute:

• Graphic Design and Content Creation

• Design and produce a variety of print and digital materials, including reports, presentations, marketing collateral, and web graphics. Ensure all visual products adhere to established branding and style guides.

• Data Visualization

• Transform statistical data and complex information into accessible and engaging visual graphics, such as charts, graphs, and diagrams.

• Web and Share Point Management

• Update and maintain the agency's website and Share Point sites, ensuring all content is current, accurate, and visually appealing.

• Recommend and implement improvements to website design, navigation, and user experience.

• Project Management and Collaboration

• Manage project tasks, prioritize workload, and effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment. Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to understand project requirements and deliver products that meet their needs.

• Technical and Creative Support

• Provide technical guidance and creative input to improve the design and layout of reports, documents, and publications.

• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in graphic design and data visualization to continuously enhance the quality of work.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience in graphic design or data visualization

• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including In Design, Photoshop, or Illustrator, and Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, or Excel

• Experience with web content management systems, including Share Point

• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Design, Software Engineering, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Communication Design, Software Development, or Illustration

Nice If You Have:

• Experience advising or providing guidance on visual information policies and procedures

• Knowledge of GEOINT Products and Services, including their purpose, application, and dissemination

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $53,000.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
