DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll streamline the software development lifecycle, from requirements to monitoring in production. You’ll incorporate open-source tools, automation, and cloud resources to modernize systems, cut down on tedious tasks, and free up the team’s developers to do what they do best—create. You’ll work with the team to implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting. You Have:

• 5+ years of experience in building infrastructure as code, IaaS, or PaaS with orchestration technology

• 5+ years of experience with configuration management tools

• Experience with software development languages such as Python, C, or C++

• Experience setting up multi-tenant systems using Dev

Ops processes and IaC:

• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with on-prem integration of disparate systems

• Experience with Open Shift

• Red Hat certifications, such as RHCE or Certified Specialist in Containers certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
