Project Management Specialist, Senior

As a Project Management Specialist, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it’s imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That’s why we need you, an experienced Project Management Specialist who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication.

On our team, you’ll implement and maintain organizational programs in support of the client. You’ll work with key stakeholders to review contracts and project cost accounting. You’ll help with tactical planning and regular interactions with engineers, researchers, and program staff.

You Have:

• Experience with project management, process management, and leading cross-functional projects and programs in risk management

• Experience using front-end solutions to analyze and resolve critical data issues using mission assurance methodologies

• Experience delivering risk and mission analytics in support of project decision-making

• Experience using Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Share Point, and Teams

• Knowledge of risk management frameworks or the application of risk management to the client's technology areas

• Knowledge of aeronautics research principles and strategic areas

• Ability to analyze and integrate into the client space for a clear determination of compliance or risk and develop potential mitigation strategies

• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience identifying data sources and manipulating and extracting data for dashboards, visualization, or reports

• Experience using Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Access, and Power Apps, including Power BI and Power Automate

• Experience with project management software

• Experience supporting aerospace clients

• Knowledge of independent risk assessments such as Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA) or Joint Confidence Level (JCL) Monte Carlo Simulations

• Knowledge of multidimensional risk management, enterprise risk management, or portfolio risk management

• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Possession of excellent analytical and time management skills

• Master’s degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
