Boeing Defense, Space & Security(BDS), is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator(Level 5) to join our team located in Seal Beach, CA.

We are looking for a cloud infrastructure lead for our analytics platform who will be responsible for ensuring the cloud infrastructure required for analysts is available 24/7.

The ideal candidate will work with the project manager to provide the vision for the entire analytics platform. This includes compute resources, data access, FOSS tools, and custom tools to include how they interact to form a cohesive, robust solution.

Expert-level understanding of general infrastructure architecture is required. Key responsibilities include oversight, coordination, planning, and security of all infrastructure including items for which you have no previous experience. Integral to this role is mentorship and building the skillsets required for team to success.

Position Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and plan work, ensuring on-schedule delivery of a quality product

• Mentor junior engineers

• Technical review for junior and senior engineers

• Collaborate with management to develop and execute business strategies and plans

• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to understand needs and requirements

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

• Active TS/SCI security clearance

• 10 years of related work experience building and maintaining computer infrastructure

• 5 years of cloud experience

• 5 years in a leadership role

• 5 years managing Oracle DB and Oracle enterprise manager deployments

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux

• Security hardening and security maintenance

• Experience working in the team using scaled agile development process

• Strong communication, adaptability, decision making, customer focused, Integrated Systems

Summary Pay Range: $158.950 - $215,050
