The Boeing Company is seeking an Employee Development Specialist (Experienced or Senior) to join the 737 Training Team in Renton, Washington.
The 737 Training Team is responsible for delivering Technical Learning Solutions for the Fabrication, Assembly, and Delivery of Aircraft and other Aerospace Products. As an Employee Development Specialist within the 737 Training Team, you will handle a diverse range of responsibilities to support our Production Operations and Quality Business Partners.
Position Responsibilities:
Conduct learning requirements analysis and establish learning objectives
Deliver content and assess effectiveness based on learning objectives
Conduct coaching sessions to improve individual or group performance
Serve as an instructor in specialized content areas within Aerospace Skills expertise, such as Electrical, Structural, Quality, Systems, etc
Facilitate learning events and knowledge transfer by teaching and team coaching, observing and tracking student performance, adding key insights to enhance delivery, and managing preparation, delivery, and rostering of training to satisfy training requirements
Conduct training using a variety of delivery methods and techniques, customizing learning programs, courses, presentations, and guides
Emphasize safety precautions in all training provided
Maintain a positive and productive learning environment, addressing any problem behaviors promptly in accordance with policies
Perform individual and group assessments, recommending process and performance improvements
Conduct Train-the-Trainer sessions to qualify additional instructors
Understand regulations and standards, ensuring courseware delivery complies with commercial, government, regulatory, and organizational standards and specifications
The position requires flexibility to work various shifts, including 1st shift (day shift) and 3rd shift (night shift), based on business needs. Candidates must be willing and able to adapt to changing schedules and work hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary to support continuous operations
Additional Responsibilities for Senior (Level 4):
Lead projects designed to produce educational deliverables
Perform ongoing monitoring of the stakeholders' operating environment, key business measures, and objectives
Coach and develop less experienced instructors
Conduct Train-the-Trainer sessions to qualify additional instructors
Deploy development tools and monitor implementation and performance outcomes
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide training consultation services
Identify and validate training effectiveness by observing, measuring, testing, reviewing, and analyzing to ensure learning objectives are met
Collaborate with stakeholders and service providers (e.g., curriculum developers, instructional systems designers, engineers, programmers, strategic learning advisors, etc.) to develop creative training enhancements, guided skills practices, job aids, capstone projects, and activities to assist learners during and after training
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing operations and/or manufacturing support
Experience in coaching, instructing, or as an employee development specialist
Experience designing and employing leadership development courseware and/or curriculum
Experience working with detailed work instructions or reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings
Preferred Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Aerospace Manufacturing and Lean Certification(s)
Experience with Structural, Electrical, Repair, Functional Test, Seal, Systems, etc
Experience as a mechanic working with structural, mechanical, electrical, or other systems
Experience in the following areas: Electrician, Structure, Wing/Spar Assembly, Needs Assessment, and Job Analysis

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range for Mid-Level (Level3): $90,050-$123,050
Summary Pay Range for Senior (Level 4): $113,900-$154,100
