Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Business Operations Specialist, level 4 to join the Line 3 Government Operations team located in Renton, WA.
This individual will work extensively with cross-functional teams. They will guide and facilitate the development and integration of the P-8 program plan and execution metrics including meeting operating rhythm. They will collect, organize and provide data according to established processes within the management system to maintain status of programs, customer and supplier commitments and compliance. Heavy engagement is expected in the areas of quality and manufacturing kaizens. They will ensure follow-up action for issue resolution.
Position Responsibilities:
Assists in the development and integration of programs, plans, strategies and processes to meet business goals for authorization, such as sourcing strategy for commitment of work, cost imperatives, deployment analysis and impact mitigation.
Supports the coordination and clarifies the analysis with business partners to validate results and determine scope to meet long range business goals and develop business case.
Supports the coordination of the commitments with internal and external organizations to fulfill strategies.
Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning and refines the business case.
Meets with leadership to gain approval.
Collects, organizes and provides data according to established processes within the management system to maintain status of programs, customer and supplier commitments and compliance.
Ensures follow up action for issue resolution
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience performing in a support organization such as, but not limited to, Business Operations, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Change Management, Strategy, Project Management, or Supply Chain role
5+ years of experience collecting, interpreting data, and leading high- level projects
5+ years of experience managing projects and using standard project management tools
5+ years of experience developing and presenting recommendations to executive level management
5+ years of experience working in a dynamic work environment, including managing multiple projects/priorities
5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office tools
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
PMP Certified or experience with Boeing's Program Management Best Practices or equivalent program/project management processes
Experience developing and integrating strategic projects, plans, and initiatives to meet business goals
Prior or current experience in Business Operations and/or Project Management Organizations

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range:
$118,320 - $127,840
