We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Regulatory Administration and Filings Manager to join our Regulatory Administration team. This role location is not specified in the provided context.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Provide oversight for multiple small teams or one large team of Regulatory Administration and Filings staff responsible for reporting and making recommendations around legislation and providing client support.
  • Manage the performance of teams and set area priorities, directing the reporting of legislative issues to provide clients with information needed to make regulatory decisions.
  • Manage delivery of prospectuses, proxy statements, and other SEC-required filings to clients and provide guidance on regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with in-house counsel to ensure filings are created and delivered in accordance with regulations.
  • Set and provide guidance on processes for performing calculations needed to answer regulatory questions on behalf of clients.
  • Direct teams in working with clients’ accounting firms to exchange client information and complex data needed for regulatory matters efficiently.
  • Recruit, direct, motivate, and develop staff, maximizing their individual contribution, professional growth, and team effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the achievement of large team or multiple teams’ objectives.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required; JD from an accredited law school preferred.
  • 5-7 years of total work experience including 0-1 years in management is preferred.
  • Experience in the securities or financial services industry preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills to effectively lead multiple small teams or one large team.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $125,000 and $140,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
