We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Director, Client Executive to join our Asset Servicing team. This role can be located in Boston, MA or New York City, NY.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

Serve in a consultative role to large, global investment managers, advising client top leadership on the best way to achieve short- and long- term strategic objectives. Assigned clients are key to the business units achievement of its goals and objectives.

Independently develop the strategic plan for managing and growing existing global client relationships, with a focus on organic revenue growth and enterprise client engagement

Provide clients with industry expertise sharing trends as well as current and potential impact on the client business model.

Promotes firm services/product offerings that solve client challenges and achieve account growth. May evaluate and structure deal (pricing, contract terms, etc.) to determine the optimal terms for both the client and the firm.

Ensures client onboarding and/or risk management activities are conducted and captured (KYC, BAC, etc.) Serves as the interface for compliance, regulatory, reputational matters between clients and the Bank.

Driving a transformation agenda where required, around people and go to market strategies

Identify and lead new client acquisitions, including prospecting across the enterprise and externally

Continue to build BNY’s presence through participation in events, industry forums, and conferences
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
-
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred.

12+ years of professional experience, preferably in client management roles with commercial accountability for top line growth is required, track record of success required

Knowledge and experience with senior leadership with investment managers preferred

Technical knowledge of fund and investment operations a plus

A passion for the business, ‘drive to win’ and outperformance mindset

Ability to establish and maintain C-Suite relationships with large global investment managers

Intellectual curiosity; desire to constantly learn and continuously improve
-
Ability to influence and drive performance internally, even when not a direct manager to teams

Strong communication and presentation skills (both verbally and in writing); able to articulate complex information in a clear and simple manner to a variety of audiences

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $150,000 and $273,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
