We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President Application Development Manager to join our Wealth Services team. This role is located in Pune

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

• Architect streaming data ingestion and integration with downstream systems
• Implement AI-driven data pipeline orchestrator to optimize processing of tens of millions of data streams and micro-batches 
• Develop a unified alerting and monitoring framework supporting streaming transformations and compute across thousands of institutional clients and hundreds of external data sources 
• Design AI-powered onboarding of new data sources and data quality monitoring framework
• Deliver scalable cloud data services and APIs with sub-second response times over petabytes of data
• Engage with various stakeholders to gather requirements and present concise summaries of proposed solutions.
• Communicate abstract or complex database and architectural concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Lead the technical design, development, and documentation of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems, collaborating with the broader team to jointly design new features for data-driven applications and deliver incremental enhancements.
• Ensure expected application performance levels by coordinating, coding, testing, implementing, and documenting well-designed, testable, and efficient code for both user-facing frontend and backend server-side applications.
• Actively participate in peer code and data pipeline reviews to ensure high standards for database design, data integrity, and performance, while balancing technical debt with delivery objectives.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of both frontend and backend development, with an intermediate understanding of security principles, relational databases, and architecture design concepts.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field; advanced degree preferred
• 15-20 years of experience in application development and data engineering.
• 7+ years of Python programming focused on data processing and distributed systems
• Exposure to AI based advance techniques and tools
• Strong understanding of database fundamentals, including data modeling, advanced SQL development and optimization, ELT/ETL processes and DBT.
• and best practices for data governance, security, and compliance.
• 7+ years designing and administering cloud-based data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks), including data modeling, optimization, and advanced SQL development.
• Experience with Java, Oracle, Kafka, MS SQL Server, Druid, Qlik/Golden Gate CDC, Visualization frameworks like Dash and Power BI is a plus
