We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Designer, Marketing & Events to join our Marketing team. This hybrid role is located in New York.

The Brand Design team at BNY is looking for a strategic, hands-on Senior Designer to play a key role in the activation of the our brand. The designer will work with the Director of Visual Brand Design and Marketing team to craft sophisticated, meaningful marketing, thought leadership and event experiences. Outstanding design sense, strategic thinking, can-do attitude, AI curiosity, and lightning speed are absolute musts.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Elevate the BNY brand: Partner with the Director of Visual Brand Design to shape and scale marketing, thought leadership and event programs across a magnitude of brand experiences such as campaigns, collateral, tradeshows, swag, etc.

  • Strategic execution: Act as a hands-on designer who reliably delivers what is requested with precision but always look for the “hidden” solution: the unexpected design path that solves the problem better.

  • End-to-end ownership: Lead the creative lifecycle from conceptual mood-boarding and sketching to final production across both digital and analog mediums, thriving within the fast-paced feedback loops of the financial industry.

  • Brand stewardship: Serve as a brand guardian contributing to and evolving our design system to ensure long-term scalability and longevity.

Collaborative mindset: Thrives on working well with designers and non-designers alike, bringing a detail oriented and highly organized approach to every project.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • BA in Design or equivalent.

  • Financial, tech, B2B background preferred but not required.

  • 7-10 years of experience as a brand designer (please include portfolio in application).

  • Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite, basic knowledge of motion and Figma, AI-forward mindset.

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment and able to manage multiple priorities.

  • Detail oriented, organized, strong problem-solving skills - thinks of and gets things done.

    BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $83,000 and $155,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.

    This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
