Senior Vice President, Billing Manager

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Billing Manager to join our Billing Platform team. This role is in Manchester.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Manage the workflow within the team and align team resources accordingly to complete the required tasks. 
  • Understand all processes and procedures and be able to undertake all tasks wherever necessary. Suggest efficiencies and improvements and be able to advise on best practice.
  • Enforce an effective control environment around the entire billing related processes.
  • Ensure the volume of work produced meets product/service standards and exceeds quality standards and is properly reviewed and documented.
  • Play leading role in maximising the efficiency and effectiveness of the firm’s approach to pricing schedules, including identifying opportunities to prevent revenue leakage.
  • Recruit, direct, motivate and develop staff, maximising their individual contribution, professional development and ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.
  • Manage complex external client issues and escalations through resolution.
  • Deliver onboarding workshops to ensure new clients understand our billing and commission cycles.
  • Provide extensive expertise in communicating needs and issues with internal and external clients and serve as a subject matter expert for advanced team issues.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • Proven experience of managing Billing/Finance Operations processes, preferably within the securities industry.
  • Strong controls and process experience.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong stakeholder management. 
  • Advanced Excel knowledge.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and mentor junior staff, including supervisory review, training, and approval responsibilities.
  • Experience in managing an offshore team is preferrable.
