We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Events Content Development. This role is open to candidates in New York City.

The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Events Content Development is a visionary, responsible for shaping, strategizing, and directing the creation and execution of compelling content across all event platforms for Wealth Intermediaries. This role champions the integration of thought leadership, market trends, and attendee engagement strategies to ensure every event resonates deeply with its target audiences—whether live, virtual, or hybrid.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Oversee the ideation, development, and management of event agendas, keynotes, breakout sessions, panels, workshops, and interactive experiences.

  • Lead research efforts to identify impactful topics, themes, and speakers that reflect industry innovation and audience interests.

  • Ensure content is relevant, inclusive, and accessible, upholding the organization’s standards for quality, diversity, and thought leadership.

  • Establish and nurture relationships with industry leaders, influencers, subject matter experts, and keynote speakers.

  • Work hand-in-hand with product marketing, segment marketing, events, creative teams, and client executives to maximize event visibility and impact.

  • Interface with the executive leadership team to communicate content strategy progress and secure alignment on key initiatives.

  • Set rigorous KPIs for content engagement, attendee satisfaction, and overall event success; track progress and report to executive leadership.

  • Leverage attendee data, post-event surveys, analytics, and stakeholder input to iteratively improve future content offerings.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Preferred Education: BS/BA Degree.

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in events content strategy, or program development.

  • Proven track record of developing successful event content strategies for large-scale conferences (1,000+ attendees) and/or complex multi-event programs.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, with strengths in storytelling, presentation, and negotiation.

  • Deep familiarity with industry trends, innovative formats, and technology solutions in the events space—including AI, virtual/hybrid platforms, and experiential design.

  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with senior executives, high-profile speakers, sponsors, and strategic partners.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and insights to inform content development and event strategy.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $126,000 and $177,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.

This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
