We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Cash Management Manager to join our Wealth Services Operations team. This role is based in Manchester.

The Vice President, Cash Management Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing cash management processes within BNY Pershing's Wealth Services platform. This position is integral to ensuring efficient and secure management of funds, requiring a proactive approach to managing cash flows, minimizing risk, and enhancing service delivery.  

BNY’s Wealth Services platform is a dynamic, next-generation ecosystem that leverages advanced data analytics, intuitive digital tools, and seamless third-party integrations to streamline operations and empower advisors to deliver personalized, world-class wealth experiences at unprecedented scale.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Oversee Cash Management Operations - Lead the cash management team by demonstrating expertise in transaction processing and ensuring efficient and accurate cash flow management
  • Risk Management and Compliance - Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks associated with cash management activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and BNY internal policies
  • Process Optimisation - Identify opportunities to streamline cash management processes, driving improvements through innovative solutions and technology enhancements
  • Client Relationship Management - Cultivate strong relationships with internal clients and stakeholders, addressing their cash management needs proactively
  • Team Leadership & Development - Mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and adherence to BNY principles
  • Strategic Planning - Collaborate with senior leadership to align cash management strategies with BNY’s organizational objectives and strategic pillars

What will help you succeed

  • Proven leadership in financial services operations, with experience in cash management and wealth services/management a plus.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to translate insights into measurable improvements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Comfort with digital tools, data analytics, and AI to spark progress.
  • Ownership mindset with a focus on risk management, client experience, and team wellbeing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or related field; equivalent practical experience considered. Advanced degree or professional certifications welcomed.
  • Vast experience within financial services/wealth operations.
  • Demonstrable interest in continuous learning and delivery of process improvements, including the use of digital tools and AI.
