Senior Specialist, Fund/Client Accounting

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Specialist, Fund/Client Accounting to join our Client Activation (Fund Accounting) Team. This role is responsible for leading and coordinating onboarding and activation activities for new clients and funds, ensuring operational readiness, a strong control environment, and high-quality delivery. The Senior Associate will take ownership of assigned activation workstreams, work closely with internal stakeholders and clients, and play a key role in ensuring smooth and controlled fund launches and transitions to business-as-usual operations. This position is based in Wrocław.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Leading onboarding and activation workstreams for new funds and clients, ensuring completeness and readiness for fund launches and transitions,

  • Reviewing and validating key fund accounting deliverables, including static data, accounting setups, fee configurations, and initial NAV outputs,

  • Acting as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders during the activation phase, managing queries and providing status updates,

  • Coordinating across Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency, Custody, Technology, and Client Service to ensure timely and smooth transition to business-as-usual operations,

  • Monitoring timelines and risks, proactively driving resolution of issues impacting launch readiness,

  • Providing guidance and review support to junior team members while contributing to process improvements and control enhancements,

  • Communicating any significant operational issues that arise to a VP.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • 4+ years of relevant experience,

  • Strong financial knowledge,

  • Very good English,

  • Good knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel),

  • Analytical skills and critical thinking,

  • Responsibility for your tasks, timeliness and reliability.

  • Experience in people management, - preferred

  • Exposure to data analytics, automation, or AI enabled tools (e.g., Alteryx or similar platforms), with the ability to leverage technology to enhance efficiency, controls, and insight within fund accounting operations.
