Description:

Work with Packaging Planning Team.  Support BMW Packaging Planners with daily activities improving and maintaining existing products in existing production areas, as well as assist with analysis of packaging concepts/options for future models.

  • Support in analysis of existing packaging (steel and non-steel) for optimizations to reduce environmental impact, logistics costs, or for communizing across multiple product lines.
  • General support for Packaging Planners on modifications, identification projects and modification of existing packaging.
  • Moderation of Packaging Planning Meetings, including team meetings and packaging reviews for new/modified containers.

  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

 

Qualifications:

  • Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain / Logistics Students.
  • SAP knowledge preferred.
  • German and/or Spanish language skills preferred.
  • Logistics knowledge preferred.
  • Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
  • Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
  • Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
  • Ability to work full-time on-sote (40 hours/week).
  • Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
  • MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT.
  • Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
  • THE WORK TERM DATES ARE May 18th, 2026 - August 7th, 2026.
