Description:

  • We connect the network with integrated supply chain solutions to safeguard production.
  • Ensuring parts supply at the right time, right place, quantity and quality for continuous production.
  • The Focus of our department is Material Control, Transportation Control and Delivery Assurance.
  • We are the Gatekeepers of the supply chain for the ultimate driving machine.
  • Addressing the areas of uncertainty for material control – forecast errors, yield losses, issues in the timing of demand and the timing of supply (random lead times).
  • Finding alternatives to the current solution which is to carry safety stock.
  • Development of concepts / IT solutions in support of essential daily tasks.
  • Creating and maintaining visualization tools, material planning dashboard, etc.
  • Optimize the processes for the availability of materials, components, and products for planned production and for customer delivery.
  • Define the lowest possible level of inventory.
  • Understanding the uncertainty of material planning in the body shop area, finding improvements and increasing planning efficiencies.
  • Support with process mapping of the business and support documentation of standard processes.
  • Using resources to support overall planning activities.
  • Ability to lead team meetings and give presentations.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will have completed (or is in the process of receiving) a degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Candidate must have strong interpersonal and technical skills (experience using Power BI, SQL, Data Lake, etc. is a bonus).
  • Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
  • Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
  • Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
  • Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
  • MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT
  • Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
  • THE WORK TERM DATES ARE May 18th – August 7th, 2026.
