Our Team
AIM is Bloomberg’s buy-side order management system, delivering multi-asset solutions across portfolio management, order management and execution, compliance, and post-trade operations. AIM supports more than 14,000 professionals in nearly 90 countries at over 850 buy-side firms, including leading asset managers, hedge funds, insurance companies, pension funds, and government agencies.
Our mission is to provide scalable asset management technology that enables clients to grow assets, expand into new markets or asset classes, and evolve their investment strategies on a fully hosted platform without disruption.
What is the role?
The Implementation Team plays a critical role in launching successful client engagements by delivering buy-side industry expertise and best practice trading workflows across a diverse range of client types.
As an Implementation Representative, you will lead client engagements from project initiation through go-live and post-implementation support. Clients will rely on you to provide project management, onboarding, system configuration, training, testing, and workflow design across position management, order management, trading, research management, compliance, and operations. The ideal candidate brings strong solution architecture capabilities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of buy-side industry workflows and technology stacks.
This role is based in New York and supports new client implementations across North America, with occasional travel required to provide on-site support.
We will trust you to:

Develop detailed project plans and provide governance across the full lifecycle of client implementations, coordinating with internal Bloomberg teams, clients, and third-party vendors
Partner with Sales during the pre-sale phase to scope requirements, design solutions, and ensure deliverability prior to contract execution
Translate complex client requirements into clearly defined milestones, timelines, and deliverables with credibility and confidence
Influence and implement industry best practices for order management and trading workflows
Manage multiple implementation engagements concurrently, spanning various asset classes and workflow complexities
Collaborate closely with colleagues across Sales, Account Management, Product Development, and Enterprise Services
Develop deep expertise across AIM’s front-, middle-, and back-office capabilities
Lead implementations involving Bloomberg’s Research Management System as part of AIM’s broader enterprise integration
Proactively manage client expectations to ensure a seamless onboarding experience
Serve as a product advocate to drive adoption and increase platform usage during and after implementation
Develop and execute strategies to maximize client engagement and solution penetration by go-live
You’ll need to have:

Prior experience in buy-side order management system implementation, research management implementation, or related enterprise financial software project management
4 to 8 years of experience implementing enterprise financial technology solutions
Deep knowledge of buy-side industry workflows, trends, and best practices
Strong project management experience working across multiple internal teams and external client stakeholders
A highly consultative approach with excellent communication and presentation skills
Working knowledge of AIM, with strong product expertise preferred
Familiarity with Bloomberg applications strongly preferred
Deep understanding of workflows across portfolio management, research management, order management, trading, compliance, and operations
Strong interest in financial markets
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational skills, proactive mindset, and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio
Salary Range = 120000 - 175000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus
