About this role

We are seeking an experienced sales professional with proven track record of managing complex enterprise relationships within the financial services industry in Canada. You will join a growing team dedicated to driving the regional expansion with the Asset Owners, Asset Managers and Asset Servicers, investing in, acting in and supporting public and private markets.

To thrive in this role, you will bring exceptional commercial acumen, demonstrable success in enterprise sales, a passion for delivering results, and a commitment to building strong, trust-based relationships that create value for both clients and our firm.

This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team to accelerate sales of Black Rock’s Aladdin platform and deliver against revenue targets with specific focus on Canada.

Your day would include:

  • Delivering presentations of our solutions to potential and existing clients
  • Crystallizing customizing our products and services’ value proposition in support of our clients’ business objectives and outcomes
  • Building on your existing network to actively generate and advance sales pipeline
  • Establishing and maintaining executive-level client connectivity
  • Conducting research into current and future industry trends to stay ahead of the market
  • Developing a strong understanding of the Aladdin product suite and value proposition
  • Strengthen existing client relationships and be the go–to person for our clients by having a deep understanding of our client’s needs.
  • Orchestrating the end-to-end sales cycle in close collaboration with partner teams
  • Analytically planning pipeline and targets in our data driven forecasting framework
  • Planning and executing go-to-market activities and client engagement

Skills & Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess some combination of the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent as minimum (CFA or CIPM designation a plus)
  • 10+ experiences in the financial services industry as a practitioner, consultant or sales executive
  • A Sales mentality with strong qualifying and closing skills
  • Robust interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable collaborating closely with both Black Rock's clients and colleagues at all levels
  • Skilled in generating leads through cold calling, research, networking, and advancing these to defined processes
  • Experience in working with common CRM tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with great sense of detail and urgency
  • A forward-thinking student of markets and people
  • Great teammate, based in Canada

For Toronto, Canada Only the salary range for this position is CAD**$195,000.00** - CAD**$265,000.00** . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. Black Rock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.

Our hybrid work model
