Role Description:
The Business Manager role is part of the integrated management department, reporting to the COO of WMC. The successful candidate will manage enterprise process and risks, execute operational plan and projects, drive key business meetings and events, and participate office planning, budgeting and oversight. This role will partner across all functions within the firm and collaborate with external parties to ensure timely execution of day-to-day business operations.
We are looking for an experienced professional in asset management industry with strong communication skills to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities:

Partner directly with senior management to facilitate cross department coordination and lead strategic initiatives/projects from conception to execution.

Champion operational excellence by owning and optimizing core enterprise processes, including but not limited to business continuity planning, cross-functional general affairs, company seal and filing management, etc., to ensure robustness, mitigate risks and enhance scalability.

Conduct in-depth business analysis and contributing to budgeting processes to identify opportunities for increased cost efficiency.

Facilitate key business meetings, ensure clear ownership of action items, and drive accountability to support business plan execution.

Lead office management to ensure smooth office operations and support a collaborative workplace culture. Organize office events and activities that boost employee engagement and morale.
Skills and Qualifications:
-
Bachelor and above degree, and at least 5-year business management experience from financial industry with a strong understanding of the business as well as enterprise risks and controls.

Strong communication and collaboration skills. Be able to navigate through the organization and build trusted relationships with others.

Solid experience in project management and meeting coordination.

Self-motivated, well-organized and a quick learner with a can-do attitude.

Our hybrid work model
Black Rock’s hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all. Employees are currently required to work at least 4 days in the office per week, with the flexibility to work from home 1 day a week. Some business groups may require more time in the office due to their roles and responsibilities.
