Team Overview
The Reporting Solutions team in Seattle is responsible for delivering white‑glove reporting services to our most bespoke clients in the AMRS region. Adopting a client‑first approach, the team owns the end‑to‑end compilation of reporting packs using Black Rock proprietary technology.

Black Rock's Reporting Solution team is accountable for ensuring that Black Rock meets our clients need for data, including the provision of market leading reporting solutions and effective client service. As a part of the Reporting Solution team you will formulate the successful delivery of critical reporting and distribution functions daily and partner with colleagues to craft and advance a globally aligned vision and business model. You will also handle the following:

Analyse client requirements and deliver periodic client reports to demanding target dates

Analysing trends in data requests to constantly improve service and client reports

Understanding the flow of client, market and fund information across Black Rock and external data providers
-
Leading and ensuring timely and accurate distribution of all deliverables; actively communicating potential delays to clients/internal stakeholders.

Constantly evaluating systems, processes and procedures for inefficiencies and making recommendations for improvement
-
Use Black Rock's technology to provide efficient and scalable solutions, as well as regular application of Excel to customized solutions

Supporting and eventually own various projects, including automation/standardization efforts and the evolution of standard reporting

Understanding the risk environment within the department – promoting risk awareness, assessment and control
Experience
-
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including intermediate to advanced skills such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros; VBA experience is desirable.

Keen interest in investment products with a preference of 3+years of financial services experience, especially client onboarding, communications or data visualization

Keen interest in understanding dataflows within applications.

Ability and desire to work in a team environment; willingness to ask questions but also to learn independently
-
Ability to operate effectively under tight deadlines and to prioritize work with strong emphasis on time management
-
Able to exercise sound judgment and to appropriately document conclusions

Extraordinary client service skills, maturity and autonomy in dealing directly with clientele

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong work ethic and willingness to give beyond the scope of one’s role to achieve team and firm objectives

Excellent attention to detail, extremely accurate and well organized

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize information, summarize issues and think creatively

Sharp control/risk mitigation mentality with ability to know when to raise issues
For Seattle, WA Only the salary range for this position is USD**$95,000.00** - USD**$127,500.00** . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. Black Rock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.

Our hybrid work model
Black Rock’s hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all. Employees are currently required to work at least 4 days in the office per week, with the flexibility to work from home 1 day a week. Some business groups may require more time in the office due to their roles and responsibilities.
