Black Rock Aladdin is uniquely positioned to address the industry’s risk management, portfolio construction and financial technology demands. The various business departments within Aladdin are focused on providing clients with highly scalable portfolio analytics, risk management, liability-driven investing, pension solutions, regulatory advice, and balance sheet strategy.
The Aladdin Wealth Tech team partners with wealth management clients to help them oversee their enterprise risk, build better portfolios, and enhance their value proposition to clients. This is achieved by leveraging risk analytics - powered by Aladdin® - to equip wealth management clients with model construction capabilities, risk monitoring tools, and portfolio construction & analytics

Position Description
The successful candidate will be an integral part of the team and take responsibility for supporting the successful adoption, ongoing use, and value realization of Aladdin Wealth for Japanese wealth management clients. The role is dynamic by nature and will evolve over time as the business and industry continues to develop – an exciting opportunity for anyone interested in working at the intersection of Technology and Wealth Management.
Key Responsibilities

Take primary responsibility for day-to-day client engagement for designated accounts, working closely with Senior Relationship Managers to support client success, adoption, and satisfaction.

Manage ongoing client interactions and requests with a high degree of ownership, proactively coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely follow-up and resolution.

Act as a trusted point of contact for clients on usage, adoption, and best practices, supporting clients in realizing value from Aladdin Wealth in their day-to-day business.

Drive platform adoption and effective utilization by planning and delivering ongoing enablement activities, including client trainings, workshops, and regular engagement sessions.

Develop a solid understanding of client business models, operating environments, and priorities, and proactively identify opportunities to improve engagement and usage.

Support the client lifecycle across onboarding, enhancements, and changes, taking accountability for smooth execution and clear communication with clients.

Partner closely with Senior Relationship Managers and Sales teams by providing client insights, usage feedback, and engagement updates that support retention and commercial opportunities.

Prepare and contribute to client governance activities such as service reviews and steering discussions, ensuring actions and follow-ups are clearly tracked and progressed.

Monitor client engagement and adoption metrics, independently identifying risks or improvement areas and escalating strategically where appropriate.

Maintain high-quality documentation of client interactions, training activities, and engagement outcomes to support continuity and team collaboration.
Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess some combination of all the following:

4–7 years of experience in client-facing roles within financial services, financial technology, consulting, or related environments (e.g., relationship management, client service, implementation, or business analysis).

Demonstrated ability to independently manage day-to-day client interactions and priorities, while partnering effectively with senior Relationship Managers.

Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging business, investment, and technology counterparts at client organizations.
-
Solid understanding of risk management, analytics, technology-enabled solutions and data-driven platforms, with the ability to discuss usage, workflows, and best practices with clients.

Proven ability to drive client engagement, adoption, and outcomes through structured communication, training, and ongoing support.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a sense of ownership and accountability for client-facing deliverables.
-
Fluent in English and native-level Japanese fluency is required.

Experience working in a global, matrixed organization, collaborating across regions, functions, and seniority levels.

Our hybrid work model
Black Rock’s hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all. Employees are currently required to work at least 4 days in the office per week, with the flexibility to work from home 1 day a week. Some business groups may require more time in the office due to their roles and responsibilities.
