The Patient Services Analyst intern supports strategic and operational initiatives by delivering rigorous analysis, clear insights, and high-quality executive communications. This role works with complex data to inform decision-making, translates findings into actionable recommendations, and supports high-visibility priorities across the organization. Operating in a fast-paced environment, the role partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders and senior leaders, bringing strong organizational skills, professionalism, and discretion to advance patient services’ performance and experience.
What You’ll Do:
- Analyze complex, multi-source data sets related to patient services operations, performance, and experience to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and operational excellence.
- Develop high-quality, executive-ready materials including presentations, and briefing documents that distill complex information for senior leadership audiences.
- Support high-visibility initiatives and strategic priorities across the Patient Services organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
- Partner cross-functionally within PS operations and leadership teams to gather inputs, validate analyses, and drive informed outcomes.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by exercising sound judgment, professionalism, and discretion when handling sensitive data and leadership-facing communications.
Who You Are:
Required Qualifications:
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to work with complex data sets, identify key insights, and translate analysis into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including experience creating concise, executive ready materials that distill complex concepts for senior leadership audiences.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented self-starter comfortable operating in fast-paced environments and supporting high visibility initiatives with professionalism and discretion.
- Proven success in managing cross-functional, enterprise-level programs involving both business and technology teams
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and drive change in dynamic, regulated environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of HIPAA, and other regulatory frameworks.
- Experience with process improvement, change management, and executive -level stakeholder engagement.
To participate in the Biogen Internship or Co-op Program, students must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited community college, college, university or skills program/apprenticeship.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree required; pursuing master’s degree in an analytics-oriented field preferred

Additional Information:
The base compensation range for this role is: $29.00-$29.00
The actual hourly wage offered will consider the candidate’s current academic level and degree candidacy, inclusive of Associate, Bachelor’s, Master’s, JD, MD, PhD and MBA programs. It will comply with state or local minimum wage requirements specific to the job location.
