  • [Best Buy Co. has openings in Richfield, Minnesota, for a Product Manager Associate position.

Manage the backlogs for the products within the Store Fulfillment portfolio.

Contribute to team success by analysis, documentation, and backlog management for Backroom and Order Pickup experiences.

Maintain or update business intelligence tools, databases, dashboards, systems, or methods.

Work with cross-functional team members and retail operations and supply chain partners for delivery, maintaining a focus on customer and employee needs.

Responsible for sprint/backlog management and understand and utilize key customer, employee, and business metrics to inform priorities.

Work with engineering teams, user experience, and applicable stakeholders.

Effectively craft clear product outcomes and vision for small to medium size/complex products.

Demonstrate understanding of the product goals and organizational needs.

Support measures of success that deliver value by solving customer problems and meeting business needs.

Support delivery through effective spring/backlog prioritization that advances the team’s highest priorities.

Seek out, research, and suggest new ways of working and ideas for product team feedback.

Analyze product performance through qualitative and quantitative analysis tools and processes.

Build skills ranging from retroactive analysis to using data as an input to understanding customer and store employee problems.

Document specifications for business intelligence or information technology reports, dashboards, or other outputs.

There are multiple openings for this position.

Requires Master’s degree or equivalent foreign degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technological field.

Position requires at least three (3) years of experience (1) working in a product environment with an emphasis on consumer products, technology, or software development; and (2) working in a cross-functional team with engineers, user experience teams, and business teams.

In the alternative, employer will also accept a Bachelor’s degree in or equivalent foreign degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technological field, plus five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience, at least three years of which included (1) working in a product environment with an emphasis on consumer products, technology, or software development; and (2) working in a cross-functional team with engineers, user experience teams, and business teams.

The pay ranges from $127,421/year to $127,421/year.
