As a Retail Area Manager for our health and wellness products, you’ll support and coordinate Fitness Sales Advisors in select Best Buy locations. This includes hiring, training, developing, coaching and supporting the Fitness Sales Advisors in their multi-state territory. You’ll share best practices across direct reports, Health Supervisor peers and corporate support.

What you’ll do- Coach a team of up to 25 people across multiple locations

  • Meet key performance indicator goals
  • Facilitate the hiring process including posting roles and interviewing new employees
  • Arrange 1 on 1 meetings with all direct reports and team meetings on a regular cadence
  • Coordinate with store leadership to support Fitness Sales Advisor activities, training and engagement
  • Attend off-site multi-day training twice a year
    Basic qualifications- Must be at least 18 years old
  • One year of supervisory experience
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service or related field
  • Ability to work successfully as part of a team
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends
    Preferred qualifications- One year of consumer electronics industry experience
  • Prior experience setting retail sales goals
  • Proven leadership acumen
  • Presentation skills including in-person and virtual group training experience
  • Microsoft suite proficiency, including PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel
