Driven by dynamic business growth opportunities we have an immediate opening for an experienced Installation Manager to take responsibility for the new equipment installation project in APAC.
This role is integral to achieving project objectives in quality, time, safety, environment management, cost control and customer satisfaction.
As an Installation Manager you will also be responsible for the construction, building and commissioning on customer sites, site mobilization, civil, erection and commissioning work, as well as management of all the activities related to this scope.
Included within this scope of the Installation Manager are the following responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of the Project for both Customer and internal organization, playing a proactive role in problems solving and prevention during the Project life cycle.
- Identify potential risk factors, which may impact the schedule.
- Ensure all Projects financial targets are met through financials reviews in terms of Revenues forecast, Margin review, Costs analysis, Cash Collection and Past due.
- Manage materials shortage.
- Highlight potential areas of concern and promptly driving other departments in solving issues, which could affect Project flawless execution.
- Provide expertise and support to the Project Planned, Project Manager, Site Manager in the development of the site Project schedule, highlighting and analyzing issues which may potentially jeopardize the Project's performance and/or ability to reach the project’s deliverables.
- Manage, in tight connection with the Site Manager, all day-to-day operational aspects of the site which cannot be solved independently and/or directly by the Site Team but need ervention/involvement of Head Quarter Functions.
- Ensure the rigorous implementation of company initiatives and develops enduring faithful Customer relationship and credibility.

To be successful in this role you will:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering
- Proven experience in project management for at least 5 years.
- Proven ability to achieve business’ targets.
- Able to interface effectively at all levels of the organization and customers.
- Problem solving and report out.
- Resilient & persistent under all circumstances.
- Commercially astute.
- Must have aptitude for learning new technology, techniques, methods and principles.
- Ability to understand and connect into the wider BAKER HUGHES
- Demonstrated competency in using standard project management tools.
- Ability to multi-task and manage priorities.
- Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Display confidence in a fast-paced work environment.
- Display energy, passion & enthusiasm to drive change.
- Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and the ability to drive projects to completion.
- Ability to champion and promote the BAKER HUGHES Culture.
- Experience delivering projects on both small and large scales.
- Ability to travel internationally as required at short notice.
- Strong inter-personal and communication skills.
- Excellent report writing & presentation skills.
- Fluent English Speaker.
