As a Production Quality Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that products and processes meet Baker Hughes’ high quality expectations. You will support quality management system (QMS) activities, manage non‑conformities, participate in audits, and drive continuous improvement. Your work will help uphold customer satisfaction, compliance, and manufacturing excellence.

As a Production Quality Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Controlling, monitoring, and reporting QMS performance indicators, ensuring high-quality standards through effective documentation control.
  • Managing part/product non‑conformities by collaborating with SQ teams, analyzing NCR data, and identifying major failure contributors.
  • Participating in internal/external audits, inspections, visits, and driving resolution of audit findings across the site.
  • Leading root cause analysis for process/product issues and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Executing and documenting final quality inspections while respecting technology standards and participating in FMEA, LEAN, and improvement projects.
  • Serving as the primary contact for quality documentation and reporting incidents or near misses to leadership/HSE.
  • Exercising STOP WORK authority when required and performing additional tasks assigned by the direct leader or manager.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Hold at least a BA degree in engineering, OR have several years of experience working with QMS or in product quality.
  • Have competent knowledge of core quality control methods.
  • Be fluent in Hungarian and possess strong written and spoken English skills.
  • Bring strong analytical thinking and precision.

Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity with Lean concepts, root cause analysis, and Six Sigma tools.
  • Experience working in a production environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
