Baker Hughes, Process and Pipeline Services (PPS) division has an opening for a Logistics Specialist. The primary role of the person will be to provide logistics support, which would include arranging accurate shipping documentation, follow-up with forwarders, customs and ensuring logistics compliance in the region.

As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Arranging and managing all logistics activities and related systems information
• Executing all required responsibilities safely at well site as per equipment and logistics manuals.
• Coordinating deliveries in line with production demands, overseeing internal logistics challenges, ensuring that materials are available for production and shipments are ready for dispatch when required.
• Reviewing and optimizing costs to ensure products and projects are delivered to budget and operating margin
• Collaborating with internal cross-functional teams to share and communicate project information

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
• At least 3 years of experience in Logistics is required
• Be able to speak Azerbaijani fluently and have minimum upper-intermediate English and Russian
• Have knowledge of international logistics (Import and export) and customs
• Demonstrate computer skills and be familiar with MS Office (SAP, Maximo is an advantage)
