As Project Engineering - Technical Support & Management in the Bari Shop, you will support product validation, troubleshooting and readiness by executing and improving instrumentation testing activities with the highest focus on HSE, Quality and Operational Excellence. Your role includes work in test environments test benches, shop tests) and light interaction with Mechanical Design on Fuel Gas Scrubbers Project Execution to ensure instrumentation solutions are correctly integrated, installable, and maintainable.

, you will be responsible for:- Define thetechnical scope of work to be executed by External Contractors, including:Take care of engineering, manufacturing, testing, inspection, documentation, Procurement, Fulfillment and support activities.
- Interface with Purchaser and other contractors
- Take care of exclusions, assumptions, and limits of responsibility
- Clearly identify make vs. buy boundaries and responsibilities for sub‑supplier management
- Specify deliverables, milestones, and acceptance criteria associated with the scope
- Define technical requirements for equipment and materials to be procured from sub‑suppliers, including:Take care of applicable standards, codes, and certifications
- Deal with functional, performance, and environmental requirements
- Define materials, ratings, and configuration constraints
- Ensure alignment with project User Requirements Specifications and interface documents.
- Planning, preparing, and lead test activities, including functional checks, calibration, loop checks, I/O verification, and troubleshooting of sensors, transmitters, and related measurement chains.
- Developing and maintaining test procedures and checklists, ensuring traceability and compliance with applicable standards, practices, and performance requirements.
- Coordinating day-to-day test execution with cross-functional stakeholders (test operations, quality, supply chain) to meet schedule and test readiness milestones.
- Guaranteeing test performance and contributing to key KPIs such as On Time Delivery, test right-first-time, non-conformities reduction, and Cost of Poor Quality, with considerable attention to HSE leading & lagging indicators.
- Diagnosing issues and driving corrective actions, including root-cause analysis, technical containment, and verification of fixes through re-test and evidence collection.
- Supporting continuous improvement through Standard Work and Lean values, proposing simplification, error-proofing, and test process optimization.
- Interfacing with Mechanical Design to ensure correct physical integration of instruments: mounting feasibility, routing constraints, basic bracket/support concepts, accessibility, maintainability, and installation best practices.
- Reviewing and using engineering deliverables (e.g., P&IDs, wiring diagrams, instrumentation lists, loop drawings) to prepare tests, verify configuration, and support testing/project needs.
- Supporting new technology introduction (new instruments, data acquisition, test control & automation, calibration equipment), including installation/start-up and training of users.
- Role modelling in the test/shop environment, reinforcing discipline on procedures, tool control, housekeeping, and safe behaviors to keep people aligned with key rules and requirements.
- Being a subject Matter Expert of HSE, Compliance and Quality, identifying hazards, driving risk mitigation, and ensuring safe execution of testing activities.
- Collaborating with customer and internal stakeholders, contributing to technical clarifications and supporting engineering/project needs when test evidence is requested.
- Basic Knowledge of CE Marking and other Regulations applicable to Harmonized Standards like (but not limited to) Instrumentation/Electrical and Pressure Equipment.

- Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college on STEM Disciplines (Electrical or Electronic is preferred)
- Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Instrumentation and/or Testing Activities
- Be able to guide multiple tasks and establish effective work priorities
- Show pro-activity and accuracy in data processing and control systems
- Display good communication skills and fluency with the English language
- Show Six Sigma training or equivalent Quality Training Knowledge of value stream mapping, AWO, Kaizen, 5s and other lean tools is preferred
