- As a Commodity Manager, you will own the strategic direction of multiple categories, developing and executing plans that deliver cost savings, mitigate risk, and enhance supplier performance. You will lead cross-functional initiatives and manage high-level supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Commodity Ownership: Develop and implement comprehensive category strategies that align with business objectives and deliver cost savings, quality improvements, and innovation. Aligning strategies with new build colleagues in Pilzen, Czechia.
- Supplier Management: Identify, select, and manage key suppliers, fostering strong partnerships and ensuring alignment with performance, compliance, and sustainability goals.
- Contracting & Negotiation: Lead complex negotiations and manage the full contracting lifecycle, ensuring optimal commercial terms and risk mitigation.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, influence decision-making, and ensure category strategies support broader business needs.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct quarterly business reviews with strategic suppliers to assess performance, drive continuous improvement, and identify opportunities for collaboration.
- Escalation Point: Act as the first line of escalation for supplier performance issues, delivery risks, and internal stakeholder concerns within assigned categories.
- Leadership Contribution: Participate in Procurement Senior Management Team meetings, contributing to strategic planning, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, risks, and opportunities to inform sourcing decisions and maintain competitive advantage.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Use data-driven insights to track category performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and report on key metrics.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to internal policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.

To be successful in this role, you should have
- Bachelor’s degree; MCIPS preferred.
- Significant experience in strategic sourcing or category management.
- Proven leadership and project management experience.
- Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder engagement skills.
Travel:
- Travel both domestically and internationally will be required.
